(Belgrade, Thursday 27 September) -  World Taekwondo Europe President Sakis Pragalos and Secretary-General Michael Fysentzidis visited the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Belgrade, Serbia, on the designation of the European Taekwondo Championships 2020 to Serbia.

Present at the meeting were also the Serbian Taekwondo Federation officials. During the prosperous meeting, the World Taekwondo Presidium met with the Minister of Youth and Sports in Serbia Vanja Udovičić, and the additional Ministy delegation; the acting Minister Drako Udovičić and the Special Advisor to the Ministry Ivana Dukić, to further discuss the ongoing operations of World Taekwondo Europe’s flagship championship.

 

The officials discussed the Organizing Committee formulation, as well as the upcoming preparations to successfully meet the prerequisites of such a milestone event.

World Taekwondo Europe Presidium was accompanied by the Serbian Taekwondo Federation Vice-President Professor Siniša Jasnić and the Serbian Taekwondo Federation Secretary-General Miroslav Krkljes.

Professor Jasnić who also serves as WTE Council Member, obtains an extensive both academic and professional experience in event management, thus his contribution was milestone during the discussion.

The friendly atmosphere during the meeting resulted in content and satisfaction on the outcome of the discussion. Further information regarding the progress will be announced promptly.
